Ellen Weiss says books project “isn’t happening any longer”

June 29th, 2010

Following an inquiry to Ellen Weiss regarding a book series AnnaSophia Robb mentioned in a 2008 interview, Weiss said in an E-Mail earlier this year, “You have indeed found the same Ellen Weiss, but unfortunately the project hit some kind of snafu and isn’t happening any longer.” The following is an excerpt from said 2008 AnnaSophia Robb interview:

Actually, I will be co-writing four books. Writing them is definitely going to be blossom into something more because I’m co-writing with Ellen Weiss. It’s going to be a challenge because I’ve never written a book before, let alone four! So that’s gonna be over the course of the next two years, I think, and then we’re hoping to turn them into movies.

The books are about a group of kids and there’s going to be a natural disaster. It’ll be about them helping out in their society and we’re also going to be bringing up some of the issues that are going on in our world right now, in the US, and all over.
