“Please watch PBS on Tuesday nights for the next 2 weeks (Oct 25th, Nov 1st) Abby Disney’s award winning series of films WOMEN WAR & PEACE will be airing. ‘Peace Unveiled’, tomorrow evening, Tuesday October 25th, on Channel 6/ RMPBS. I met Abby last week in Denver at a screening of Pray the Devil Back to Hell, a heroic account of how the women in Liberia worked for peace in their war torn country. I was incredibly moved. Abby has put together a 5 film series (that started airing Oct 11th) and shows the different facets of war, scene from a female’s perspective. Man or women, it is something we all should see and be aware of. You can also go on line and watch the series, review curriculum and see ways you can get involved.
